Quickly Evaluating an Expired Domain Auction

Have you stumbled across an expired domain in auction that looked to good to be true?

After all, why is this expired domain in auction with no bids, or 1-2 bids?

You say the domain to yourself a few times as excitement wells up in your heart. You try to clam down, but sit and fidget a bit.

Your heart rate increases with every tick of the auction clock counting down. Yeah, I’ve been there a time or two.

In this video tutorial, I introduce and share logic I use to evaluate and consider bidding on an expired domain. This logic is also good for new domain purchases as well.

Although it is not the overall decision maker I use to purchase domains, it is one of about 5-6 tools I use to help me quickly determine whether I should invest time in further research or simply pass on the opportunity.

If you have questions or comments about the evaluation logic used to consider expire domains or general domain investing questions/comments, please drop me a comment or question below, and I’ll do my best to find the appropriate answer.
